I recently sat down with Tony Okun and Eric Sandmeyer or Oh! Show Productions to chat a little bit about their work with the Hawks , their background and their soon-to-be-released documentary “Time in the Minors.”

Tony and Eric have collaborated on several Hawks projects, including a behind-the-scenes look at Media Day, a preseason commercial, theme song and Project Filter PSAs about quitting tobacco use.  Find out exactly which Hawks project Tony and Eric enjoyed the most in this sound byte from my interview with the two collaborators.

Besides the Hawks work, as baseball fans, you might be interested to learn more about Tony and Eric’s documentary, “Time in the Minors.“

“I think your readers would be very interested in this film because there is an internal aspect of the players that doesn’t get presented on the field,” said Eric.  “You get the action on the field, but his film gets inside their head; the pressures of hanging in there for one more season while they’re trying to get the attention of the scouts; the pressure of if they’re not hitting very well, what that does to your head and it makes it harder to get up to bat the next time.  Or what happens when you feel like crud; it’s hard to get up and go out there and your schedule is just boom, boom, boom.  And what they guys go through mentally is a really exciting story.”
