Droppings from the Nest, August 13th
Last night’s Latino Night turned out to be one big fiesta with a Mariachi band, dancers, festive music and special PA announcing in Spanish. Definitely a great time and really seemed to liven up the crowd a bit. Additionally, I know our Latino players really appreciated the promotion and gave them a little taste of home–while Andres Quezada was signing autographs before the game he said, “I really like Latino night…especially the music!” I took this as a huge compliment to the night since Quezada is a pretty quiet guy and rarely offers his opinion on things.
On to the droppings:
- Jordan Rodriguez with the Idaho Statesman gets the Hawks catchers’ perspective on the game of baseball. Additionally, the Statesman recaps last night’s loss to the AquaSox.
- The Idaho Press-Tribune has last night’s game story – Everett’s 6-2 win over the Hawks
- Anthony Caruso with the Capital Sports Report takes a minute to chat with Hawks pitcher Josh Lansford.

Excrementos de la jerarquía, 12 de agosto.
En honor de tonight’ noche del Latino de s en el estadio,
estoy escribiendo mi “excrementos” todos en español. Perdóneme por favor
para cualquier desgracia de la traducción pues no soy fluido en español
(recuerde mi experiencia del día de los medios) y la usando un
traductor en línea.

- Chris Langrill con el Idaho Statesman hecha una ojeada el Justin Bour y Bobby Wagner y they’ re ayudando a los halcones con
un cierto golpe de la energía. - Will Love con el Idaho Press-Tribune recapitulaciones anoche triunfo de s sobre el AquaSox , charlando con el 3B Bobby Wagner.
- Zach Wolken con el canal 7 de KTVB también recapitula anoche ‘ triunfo
de s, observando que es el cuarto triunfo de los halcones en cinco
intentos. - Anthony que Caruso con Capital Sports Report divulga hizo
