HAM (Hawks Advanced Media) Insider and Media Relations Assistant for the Boise Hawks, Onalee is entering her first season in minor league baseball after graduating from Rhodes College with a degree in English (Literature). She had her first taste of sports media as the sports writer for her high school paper, but has since rekindled it with internships with ESPN radio, the ABC and NBC affiliates in Memphis, the Mississippi RiverKings and a tenure as sports editor with her college paper. She also had the unique opportunity of covering the St. Louis Cardinals spring training in 2008–most intimidating experience of her career, but obviously didnt derail her. She is also a member of the Association of Women in Sports Media. Onalee is a self-proclaimed baseball fanatic whose obsession started when her parents gave her a bat and glove instead of ballet slippers at age three.
